We spend over one third of our life sleeping. Sleep is not only comforting but is essential for our physical and mental well-being. Yet over a quarter of the population report having poor quality sleep. The media have even coined a term for it: junk sleep. Too much stimulation, worry and anxiety are some of the main culprits. In this talk explore the mysterious world of sleep along with some practical tips to secure a more soothing snooze.
 
Now based in Leeds, Joanna Kitto is the co-ordinator of the Brahma Kumaris activities in the Isle of Man. She formerly worked as a Psychology lecturer for over 25 years in Hong Kong and the Isle of Man. Joanna’s warm and gentle nature and her commitment to learning and teaching makes her sharing both practical and inspirational.
