We spend over one third of our life sleeping. Sleep is not only comforting but is essential for our physical and mental well-being. Yet over a quarter of the population report having poor quality sleep. The media have even coined a term for it: junk sleep. Too much stimulation, worry and anxiety are some of the main culprits. In this talk explore the mysterious world of sleep along with some practical tips to secure a more soothing snooze.
 
Now based in Leeds, Joanna Kitto is the co-ordinator of the Brahma Kumaris activities in the Isle of Man. She formerly worked as a Psychology lecturer for over 25 years in Hong Kong and the Isle of Man.
